August 06, 2009, 10:01 AM — As we all learned anew in the recent 40th anniversary moon landing hoopla, Neil Armstrong became the first man on the moon in July of 1969. So why does Neil Armstrong, living in suburban Cincinnati, deny himself glory? Despite the adoration, he's full of excuses to put off his admirers, like "Oh, I'm not that Neil Armstrong," and "No, seriously, I was born in 1971."
