Science heroes
Shameful as it is to admit, most Americans who can name all eight of Jon and Kate's kids would have a hard time identifying any scientist but one: Albert Einstein. The lesson for science mavens everywhere is that genius isn't enough: one must cultivate wacky hair in order to become an iconic part of the American psyche.
If you want to get a little more obscure, you could throw on a turtleneck and call yourself Carl Sagan. And let's not forget the ladies! Victorian clothes + glow-in-the-dark makeup = instant Marie Curie.
