UK parliamentarian admonished for reading from his smartphone

It's not unusual for members of the British parliament to read aloud letters from their constituents -- and you'd think that reading an email from the screen of a smartphone would amount to the same thing, right? Well, when Alistair Burt tried it, he got a stern(ish) talking to from the House of Commons' deputy speaker. "The use of an electronic device for reading from during a speech, I think -- I'm not sure that's a good idea," said Sir Michael Lord.
