Add archiving packages to manage archive formats in Linux Mint 17

Here's how you can install useful archiving utilities in Linux Mint 17. The utilities include Unace, P7zip, Sharutils, Rar, Arj, Lunzip and Lzip.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following command then hit Enter:

sudo apt-get install unace p7zip-rar sharutils rar arj lunzip lzip
