Is there a way to work with Google Docs when you don’t have an internet connection?

I’ve been considering switching from MS Office to either LibreOffice or OpenOffice. Are there any major advantage to one of those over the other for someone transitioning from Office?

Migration Assistant usually works fine, but if you have problems with it, you can also try a Time Machine backup, then physically connect the old HDD to the new machine and use Migration Assistant with the backup. 

Apparently, Google’s main complaints are that the Windows Phone YouTube app isn’t serving up the proper ads when viewing content and Microsoft not utilizing HTML5. Microsoft calls these “invented reasons.” Not sure who is in the right in this case. Is there any reason why Windows Phone users can’t just view YouTube through their browser?

have an old router at home that still works well and actually has a better range than some other routers I’ve tried. However, is doesn’t support WPA, so the best I can do for security is WEP. Is this good enough for home use?

Google has released a patch to fix the flaw and has shared it will Android manufacturers. I’m sure that now we will all be getting updates promptly. Oh, wait.....no I’m not. 

I am seriously loving everything I’ve seen about the new Mac Pro so far, and not just the super cool cylinder exterior. What’s not to love about a Mac where the “base” model has a 3.2Ghz quad core Intel Xenon E5, 2 killer AMD Firepro GPUs, next-gen PCI Express flash storage, etc., etc. What I haven’t seen is how much it will cost.

Are the two just different names and “packaging” for the same software?

I'm looking for a good quality printer that will primarily be used by my wife to print photographs. She has taken a number of classes and is pretty serious about it, so I would like to get her something pretty nice, but I don't really know what to look for.
