Nokia sues Apple over iPhone 'free ride'

Nokia has sued Apple in federal court, charging that the iPhone infringes on 10 patents owned by the Finnish mobile-phone maker.

Eolas files patent lawsuit against 22 companies

Technology research company Eolas Technolgies, which won a US$520.6 million patent infringement case against Microsoft in 2003, has filed a new patent lawsuit against 22 companies including Adobe Systems, Google, Yahoo, Apple, eBay and Amazon.com.

Jury's Verdict Tossed, $388M Win For Microsoft

A U.S. District Judge gave Microsoft a break Tuesday, essentially ruling that the jury that heard a patent infringement case against it was clueless. He then overturned its record $388 million verdict against the company.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
