Which robot is more useless: Screen-cleaning or smartphone-dancing?

Japanese robots once again make us wonder, "Why?"

By

YouTuber tempusmaster has posted a few videos from the Tokyo Gift Show, in which the latest robotic toys or gadgets are displayed.

In these two videos, we get to watch Takara Tomy's Automee-S tablet-screen cleaning robot, as well as the Dancing Face Stand for the iPhone (slide in an iPhone, and watch it dance).

So, which one is more useful and/or useless? Only in Japan, I guess.

I suppose a screen-cleaning robot wins by an edge in terms of usefulness, that is if you don't have a free sleeve or one of those cleaning cloths. But still, what's up with Japan?
