November 05, 2009, 9:19 AM — Apple announced this week that more than 100,000 apps are now available on the iTunes App Store. While that may be true, a lot of them aren't worthy of your attention or even the meager disk space that they occupy. As a test, I searched for those that contain the word "fart" in their titles or subject, and came up with more than 170 different ones. There are probably more when you try this at home. I find that I use three or four external apps apart from the ones that originally came with my phone. What about you, are there useful ones for enterprise IT workers?Â
