Whether you've had your job for several years or are just starting out, chances are, when you look a few years ahead, you don't see yourself sitting in the same old cube working on the same old code.

Speak up to move up
Many professionals might be afraid to let their boss know they'd like to move up in the company, especially if that move would involve transitioning to another group or team. But if you're looking to advance your career, you're going to want (and in some cases need) your manager's support.
