Science Tuesday: Why Light is Quantum
Celebrate Einstein's birthday (and Pi Day) by understanding his 1905 paper on light particles
With tomorrow, March 14, being Pi Day, you'll see a lot about this famous day (3/14, get it?) between now and then. But many people don't know that March 14 is also Albert Einstein's birthday as well. Tomorrow would have been his 133rd birthday, so to celebrate, YouTuber "minutephysics" presents this video talking about Einstein's 1905 paper discussing how light was made up of particles, and not waves.
My favorite part? The stick-figure version of Einstein with the crazy hair.
