This Abe Lincoln movie trailer features no vampires
Spielberg movie features Google Hangout for premiere of longer trailer
As part of the promotion for Steven Spielberg's movie "Lincoln", which "focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office," there will be a special Google Hangout on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. (EDT), which will also then play the longer trailer.
In this teaser trailer, we see about 30 seconds or so from the film, and thankfully there are no vampires that need to be hunted down.
So in all likelihood this will be a straight dramatic piece, but part of me wishes that with Spielberg making the movie, that a time-traveling alien shows up at Ford's Theater just in time to take the president away and to the past so he could live out the rest of his days with the dinosaurs. Now THAT would be a cool Abe Lincoln movie - "Abraham Lincoln, time-traveling dinosaur warrior". Someone call my agent!
