Here's how you can enable advance file permission in Ubuntu Linux.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type in the following command, then hit Enter:
gsettings set org.gnome.nautilus.preferences show-advanced-permissions
3. Right click any file or folder.
4. Go to Properties then Permissions.
5. You'll see that advanced file permissions have been enabled.
