Here's how you can use a quick keyboard command to pull up the Get Info window for any file or folder on your OS X Mountain Lion Mac.
1. Click on the file or folder.
2. Use this keyboard command to pull up the info window:
Command+I
3. The info window will load and will show you lots of information about your file or folder including the following:
Kind
Size
Where
Created
Modified
Label
4. Note that you can also see the Get Info window by clicking on a file or folder, then right-clicking on it and choose Get Info.
