Watch parents from 1991 gripe about Nintendo
With a new system coming Sunday, time for news reporters to find new angry parents
A 21-year-old video is making its rounds on the InterWeb, showing a news report about Nintendo's new SuperNintendo system and how parents were upset over the $200 system and the grip it had on our nation's youth.
With the new Wii U game console coming out this Sunday for the upcoming holiday shopping season, I'm sure that some news directors at local TV stations are going, "Hmmmm, let's see if I can find any angry parents out there".
Of course, this time around, it's more likely to be a report about parents upset with Apple because all their kids want iPads or iPhones. If any news station wants to do a report about the dangers of expensive Lego sets, have them contact this parent (me).
