Science Thursday: Why You Should Run in the Rain
Physics explains why you get wetter if you don't run
This week's MinutePhysics video answers that time-old question of whether you should walk or run to get less wet in the rain.
It seems like a common-sense type of answer, but for some reason there's always an old myth regarding you hitting more water while you run rather than walking, but that always fails to mention our old friend, time.
So in the end, common sense wins out. But I'm glad I now know the formula.
Still, this doesn't address singing in the rain. But this does:
