Name That Noise: I'll Never Stop
Can you identify today's mystery sound?
It's time once again for your weekly "Name That Noise" episode - every Tuesday we present a new mystery sound from the world of technology, geek culture (video games, science fiction), or some other random noise from around the world that you're likely to recognize.
This week's sound should be relatively simple for techies - in fact, you get bonus points if you can identify multiple machines from which this sound may come from.

ANSWER: The Macintosh startup sound has evolved over the years, but the last three tones are the ones we're playing here. They're from the Macintosh Quadra AV, the PCI-based Power Mac and the iMac (and every model since then, which uses the same tone now).
