Scavenger hunts may be as old as the hill, but a variant involving text messages that send you from one goal to another has sprung up of late, since this is the future and everything has to involve text messaging or Twitter in some way. Anyway, Joe Collyar and Alicia Gonzales won the "Diamond Dash" in Denver, which raised thousands for homeless families, at least, and got a huge honkin' diamond ring at the end of it, thanks to their texting skills. They completed the entire event on rollerblades, which may or may not make you feel more affectionately towards them.
