Bio:

Randy is vice president & CIO of GE Healthcare. Previously he led the Information Technology organization for GE Energy Management, a $7B business based in Atlanta, GA. He began his GE Career at Aircraft Engines in 1986 as an IT Programmer Analyst based in Cincinnati, OH, and progressed through a variety of positions with an increase in responsibility by gaining experience in Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing to further develop his leadership skills. In 1995, Randy moved to GE Plastics Europe, based in The Netherlands, where he was the Order to Remittance Systems leader. In that role, he gained significant ERP systems experience by implementing Oracle Applications.

He then joined GE Superabrasives as CIO, located in Worthington, OH. From there, Randy was promoted to the position of CIO - GE Supply, based in Shelton, CT. Within Supply, his role was broadened to include Six Sigma Leadership for the business. Randy followed this role with a move to Philadelphia, PA in 2002, where he led the IT integration of multiple acquisitions in the creation of GE Water and Process Technologies. He also formed IT shared services platforms for GE Specialty Materials and GE Infrastructure.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. In 2009 Randy was the recipient of the CIO 100 Award.

Randy is a member of the CIO Executive Council.
