Apple gives Rhapsody green light on iPhone

RealNetworks yesterday launched its Rhapsody music-streaming application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, after a "smooth process" of back-and-forth with Apple.

Judge weighs testimony in RealDVD copy case

A federal judge is now considering whether to permit sales of RealDVD, after testimony on a pretrial injunction ended Thursday. That injunction has prevented RealNetworks from selling its DVD software since late September.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
