British schoolchildren give comical answers on science history

Birmingham Science City, a British group that aims to improve science education, gave a test of science trivia to 9-to-15-year-olds and got some disquieting results. For instance, some children believed that the telephone had been invented by Queen Elizabeth, that Luke Skywalker was the first man on the moon, and that Isaac Newton discovered fire. Read more.
