British vet builds "bionic cat"

July 05, 2010, 6:13 PM — Cats can get along with only three legs, but when they lose two -- like Oscar, who was injured in a combine harvester accident -- they generally can't cope are have to be put to sleep. But a British vet managed to fit Oscar with artificial limbs fitted so tightly to his skeleton that skin can grow over the seal.
