This Mars Curiosity video captures the drama of last week's landing

Relive "7 years in 7 minutes" from a guy who worked on the project

Mark Rober has published a compelling video about working with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory over the past seven years, as well as the people he worked with on the Mars Curiosity rover.

If you ever questioned the passion and intelligence and skills of scientists working on such a project, or wondered why we spend money on sending robots into space, this video should answer those questions.

It's also cool to see all of the people who went to JPL to watch the landing.
