January 02, 2013, 10:21 AM — The U.K.'s Daily Mail has posted an article about a bunch of scientists from the University of Zurich's Artificial Intelligence LabL and their plans to "create a humanoid helper robot with artificial muscles - in just nine months."
Features of the "Roboy" project include a skeleton like a human, artificial tendons that flex like real muscles, and facial recognition technologies. This video explains a bit more:
The group is seeking donations to help fun the project, and even offers "to put a logo on the machine" for about $55,000. Any takers?
