April 25, 2013, 11:01 AM — Science YouTuber Derek Muller, aka Veritasium, provides awesome videos related to science and physics. In his latest video, he dons a water jetpack and discusses the physics related to rocket science (and earns a few bumps and bruises along the way).

Check out this video to learn more about how rockets work - you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand it.
Of course, this wants me to go out and try a water jetpack as well - but this likely also shows why normal people don't have their own jetpacks, like science-fiction cartoons from the 1950s.
