Japanese group plans to launch communications robot into space


While robotic devices have gone to space (there's currently a robot on Mars, for goodness sakes), apparently there's never been one as cute as this Japanese robot.

According to this report by Zoominuk (British news channel), developers from the Kibo Robot Project demonstrated a pair of robots that it plans to send to the International Space Station in August.

Hopefully the robot won't lock any doors on human astronauts while it's up there.
