Science! Real-life injuries of movie action heroes

YouTube channel documents maladies from action movies

The Screen Junkies channel on YouTube, which sees success with its "Honest Movie Trailers" series, has started a new series that should fascinate movie fans and the medical community.

The first video, "Honest Action - Die Hard", chronicles Bruce Willis' character, John McClane, from the first "Die Hard" film and details what real injuries he'd face if this wasn't a movie. Basically, McClane would "Die Hard" several times through the course of the adventure (but you probably already knew that, right?)

With such a vast action-movie library to choose from, I can see this series documenting many, many more contusions, fractures and lacerations. I mean, between Stallone and Schwarzenegger alone, that's about 30 different videos.
