Astronauts say "yipee!" to urine drinking

One of the most important things that the space shuttle Endeavour delivered to the International Space Station last week was a system that would allow the astronauts on board to recycle their own urine into drinkable water. It sounds gross, but it's crucial if the station's crew complement is to be expanded from three to six next year as planned ... and it took a while to get it up and running.     The idea of highly trained astronauts drinking urine is difficult not to laugh about. It's excellent that they have been able to purify urine into freshwater though.
