By

In what may be the first example of YouTube being used as a research tool, a pair of studies published in the journal Current Biology found that 15 animal species (14 species of parrot and the Asian elephant) have the ability to dance, a skill that was once thought to be unique to humans.

But, a host of other animals that are regularly found "dancing" in YouTube videos, all were unable to dance in time, including dogs, ferrets, horses, sea lions, white males over 30 (kidding, of course), cats, squirrels, and fish.
