Report: 1 in 4 US Hackers are FBI Informants

An article says numerous hackers have been turned into effective FBI informants

By Sarah Jacobsson Purewal, PC World |  Security, FBI, hackers

I suppose that's what will really give credence to The Guardian's assertions: Lulz Security claimed Sunday that it hacked and defaced the website of the Atlanta chapter of InfraGard, which is affiliated with the FBI. LulzSec reportedly performed the hack in response to the Pentagon's recent talks about considering cyber attacks "acts of war."

If 25% of US hackers really are turncoats, I expect the FBI will have that whole situation wrapped up within a few days.
