March 16, 2012, 10:54 AM — It's nice to see that some people at Microsoft have a sense of humor about its products. In this video, a former hater of IE acknowledges that he no longer runs around uninstalling the browser "because it's pretty good now". Best line, though: "The only thing Internet Explorer is good for is installing other browsers!" Hee. Guess they haven't converted me yet.
The video is part of a Microsoft campaign aimed at getting people to try Internet Explorer 9. What do you think? Will this get you to try it, knowing that Microsoft is OK with mocking its previous browsers?
Also, I don't get the thing with the cat. Does this mean he's still crazy? And if he is, should we trust his thoughts on IE9? Mixed messages, Microsoft!
