Badges? Google's Got Your Stinkin' Badges

July 18, 2011, 1:27 PM — Google has created a series of badges for its Google News service, letting users keep track of what they are reading, and sharing the badges with friends. Like Xbox Achievements, users can accumulate badges based on doing certain things, like reading more articles in that specific topic.
