November 29, 2011, 2:33 PM — Here's some raw video from the Associated Press, showing a new type of flexible robot that is "limber enough to wiggle through tight spaces." A team from Harvard University helped create the robot, borrowing concepts from squids and other flexible beings.
So let's review all of the ways that robots will soon be able to chase us down once they obtain consciousness and free thought:
They'll be able to walk upright and balance and not get pushed over.
They'll be able to applaud when they defeat us.
They'll be able to climb ladders and chase us down.
Seriously, if these scientists all start to work together, I'm thinking we could have the first Terminator prototypes ready by the end of 2012.
