February 03, 2012, 1:30 PM — Here's how you can add Screenlet widgets to your Ubuntu or Linux Mint desktop. These small applications add helpful features to your desktop environment.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:screenlets/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install screenlets
3. To add more Screenlets, use this command:
sudo apt-get install screenlets-pack-all
