How to add the OpenShot video editor to your system

February 03, 2012, 1:33 PM — Here's how you can install OpenShot 1.4.1 to your Linux Mint or Ubuntu desktop. OpenShot provides a wide range of video editing features that will help you create your own movies using music, photos and video.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openshot blender
