February 10, 2012, 2:14 PM — Here's how you can boot into Mac OS X Lion's recovery partition in case you need to reinstall Mac OS X, restore from a Time Machine backup or just figure out what's wrong with your system.
1. When you go to reboot your system, hold down the following keys:
Command+R
This will display the Mac OS X utilities window where you can reinstall Mac OS X, access the disk utility or use Time Machine to restore your system.
