Change auto-recovery time in Microsoft Word

How to adjust the auto-recovery feature in Word

By , ITworld |  Software, microsoft word auto-recovery

Here's how you can shorten (or lengthen) the time interval between automatic saves in Microsoft Word.

1. Open the Microsoft Word preferences menu then go to Save.

2. Change the time on the "Save AutoRecover info every:" to whatever time you want.

I personally prefer to keep the time to about one minute or so, since I like to have the most recent changes saved. But you can set it to whatever works best for you.
