February 21, 2012, 4:28 PM — Surprise! You don't actually need to defrag your Mac's hard disk. Macs run a version of Unix that uses a file system that automatically defragments your hard disk.
So you can sit back and take it easy while your Mac does all the defragmenting work for you.
