Disk Cleanup lets you remove junk files in Windows

Here's how you can use Disk Cleanup to free up space on your Windows hard disk.

1. Open your Start menu and find Disk Cleanup.

2. Start Disk Cleanup.

3. On the Disk Clean up tab, check off the options for the kinds of files you want to remove.

4. Click the More Options tab and then you can click the Clean Up buttons to remove programs you no longer use. You can also remove restore points and shadow copies as well.

Disk Cleanup is an easy way to get rid of some of the junk that has built up on your Windows computer. Why waste hard disk space on stuff you don't want or need? Use Disk Cleanup to get rid of it.
