May 01, 2012, 4:45 PM — Here's how you can add the Medibuntu software repository to Ubuntu Linux. Medibuntu carries software that can't be included in Ubuntu. You can browse a list of Medibuntu packages here.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Enter these commands:
sudo -E wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update
3. To install Medibuntu packages to the Ubuntu Software Center, type in this command in a terminal window and then hit enter:
sudo apt-get install app-install-data-medibuntu apport-hooks-medibuntu
