June 13, 2012, 5:13 PM — Here's how you can allow or disallow email notifications from Facebook applications.
1. Login to your Facebook account.
2. Click the arrow drop down menu in the upper right corner of the Facebook web interface.
3. Go to Account Settings.
4. Click on the Notifications tab on the left.
5. Scroll down to All Notifications.
6. Go to Other Applications and click the Edit link.
7. To allow email notifications, click the checkbox next to the application's name.
8. To disallow email notifications, uncheck the checkbox next to the application's name.
