How to see application usage in Windows 8

July 30, 2012, 4:01 PM — Here's how you can quickly see app usage history in Windows 8.

1. Open the Windows 8 Task Manager. Use this keyboard command:

Ctrl+Shift+Esc

2. Click on the App History tab.

3. The app history tab is for Metro apps only.

4. You can see the following information:

CPU Time
Network Usage
Tile Updates
