MATE 1.4: The GNOME 2 desktop clone gets a key update

Now available for numerous Linux distributions, this traditional desktop environment just gained several new features.

Do you pine for the old days of the GNOME 2 desktop? Just yesterday I wrote about another option to consider: the forthcoming SolusOS 2 Linux distribution, which will incorporate a custom GNOME Classic interface that also mimics GNOME 2.
