Windows 8 power user keyboard shortcuts

1. Press Windows Key + X to pull up the menu.

2. Here's a list of options:

Power Options
Event Viewer
System
Device Manager
Disk Management
Computer Management
Command Prompt
Command Prompt Admin
Task Manager
Control Panel
File Explorer
Search
Run
Desktop

3. You can also use the Windows Key + X command and the letter of each option to skip the menu. For example, you can use this command to skip right to Device Manager:

Windows Key+ M
