November 29, 2012, 4:13 PM — Here's how you can upgrade your Apple TV to version 5.1.1.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to General.
3. Go to Update Software.
From there you can download the 5.1.1. update, which includes bug fixes and internal improvements.
