December 08, 2012, 2:16 PM — Here's how you can enable the virtual keyboard in Linux Mint 14 (Cinnamon).
1. Click the caret icon on the taskbar.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Go to Applets.
4. Click the check box next to Accessibility.
5. Click the Close button on the Applets menu.
6. In the taskbar, click the icon for Accessibility.
7. Toggle the Screen Keyboard switch to On.
