February 07, 2013, 12:10 PM — Here's how you can install the Angry IP Scanner app in Ubuntu.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/network
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ipscan
3. You can start Angry IP Scanner via the Unity Dash or from the terminal using this command:
ipscan
4. You can remove Angry IP Scanner with these commands:
sudo apt-get remove ipscan
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:upubuntu-com/network
sudo apt-get update
