Install Converseen batch image processor in Linux Mint 17

Convert images with Converseen on your Linux Mint 17 computer

Converseen is an application that lets you convert images. Converseen supports many different image formats, including DPX, EXR, GIF, JPEG, JPEG-2000, PhotoCD, PNG, Postscript, SVG, and TIFF.

Here's how you can install it in Linux Mint 17.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install converseen

3. To remove Converseen, use this command.

sudo apt-get remove converseen

According to Linux G:

Converseen offers the user the basic photo manipulation functions, including convert, resize, rotate or flip. The latest version available is Converseen 0.7.2 which comes only with the updates for the German translation and a new AppData file.
