Update Linux Mint 17 with terminal commands instead of Update Manager

Here's how you can use the terminal to update your Linux Mint 17 system. This is a nice alternative to using Update Manager.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
