December 18, 2008, 01:37 PM —  http://www.verbalarea.com —

Verbalarea Messenger is latest in the line of audio/ vide chat with additional facilities of PC2Phone and PC2SMS services internationally. Developed by Business Craft, Verbalarea Messenger provides moderated chat rooms for public chat and has the ability to chat in private Rooms and even 1 on 1 chat (Private Messaging). Download and registration is free (one needs to have a unique user name and a vaild and active email address) which, provides basic services with a black nick name. Additional services can be purchased to view more than one streaming cam, ability to join multiple chat rooms, ability to add more buddies, and for larger file transfers. Users with paid services are identified with different colored nick names like Blue, Pink, Green, Orange, and Purple whereas users with basic free service have Black colored nicks.
Besides the excellent voice quality, Verbalarea has builtin echo set up that enables users to create echo environments while singing live/ karaoke. Arabic language support is also included in chat rooms and Private Messaging windows. A builtin language translater is also available for translating other languages but is not functional in the current build.
Verbalarea has been tested by Softpedia and has been certified as 100% safe program. The details of the certificate can be seen here. It takes very less resources and works perfectly fine with a Pentium x machine, 256 M RAM and a 56 kbps dial up internet connection. It supports windows xp as well as windows vista.

Criticism.
Some features do not work since the messenger is in beta stage.
Messenger works on windows only. MAC version is not available.

Verbalarea has good prospectus

Its just recent that a friend sent me the link for downloading Verbalarea and when I joined it, I was kinda in love with this program. I am an old user of chat softwares including some as old as a decade but this newly introduced messenger is too good. I am impressed by the quality of voice and some excellent features like built in echo and translator. The most impressive feature I liked in the program is its word filtering system. Any text containing curse words does not even appear in the text and this feature gives me peace of mind because I dont have to worry what the minors will have to read. On other chat messengers, profanity and vulgarity is common but Verbalarea has given a good thought on controlling this aspect.
I am anxiously waiting for the cams to work in customizable screen sizes. I, based on my experience, can forsee a bright future for verbalarea. Thanks for building this nice messenger for general public.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.

Leveraging technologies such as Linux, high-end commodity processing power and Oracle RAC technology to architect, design, build and maintain database infrastructure that delivers maximum availability, reliability and performance at a fraction of traditional cost.

On a typical day, weather.com, the Web site for The Weather Channel in Atlanta, serves up between 15 million and 20 million page views. But in September 2004, when back-to-back hurricanes ransacked Florida, the peak traffic on one day more than tripled: over 70 million page views by more than 7 million unique visitors.
