 <link>http://www.itworld.com/software/81818/new-windows-mobile-software-builds-hint-microsofts-direction</link>
<description>Though Microsoft&#039;s Windows Mobile 6.5 has only just been officially released, newer builds of the operating system are popping up in what are called cooked, modified or hacked ROMs for smartphones. Together, they&#039;re being unofficially dubbed version &quot;6.5.1.&quot; and seen as a preview of an early 2010 Windows Mobile update, and even a harbinger of Version 7, due later that year.

 <link>http://www.itworld.com/personal-tech/80220/windows-mobile-65-stung-bad-reviews</link>
<description>Hopes were high for Microsoft&#039;s Windows Mobile 6.5, but the mobile operating system was met with disappointment by critics. Reviews are concluding Microsoft&#039;s Windows Mobile 6.5 can&#039;t hold a candle to Apple&#039;s iPhone.

 <link>http://www.itworld.com/personal-tech/80038/windows-mobile-65-arrives-mostly-disappoints</link>
<description>The reviews of Microsoft&#039;s new mobile OS, Windows Mobile 6.5, are in -- and none of them are glowing. It seems that Windows Mobile 6.5 is more of a superficial cosmetic overhaul, not a bona fide upgrade capable of handling the mobile market&#039;s stiff competition.
